Behavioral Neuroscience is the study of the biological foundation of human and animal behaviour. This field generally investigates the neurotransmissions of the brain as well as the psychological events connected with biological activity. It is a more recent extension of Physiological Psychology that encompasses a wide variety of issues such as genetic and molecular biological bases of behaviour, neuropsychology, learning and memory, motivation and emotion, and sensory processes.
